Springer Barrel Adapter
Springer Barrel Adapter
Our collet-based adapter is the ideal solution to attach our line of moderators to spring airguns without threaded muzzles. Designed with a focus on minimizing weight while maintaining performance, this adapter system clamps securely to the barrel, accommodating the unique recoil characteristics of spring-powered airguns. The adapter’s low-profile design keeps mass at the end of the barrel to a minimum, allowing for optimal handling and accuracy.
Key Features:
Lightweight Design: Weighing only 50 grams, this adapter minimizes added weight at the barrel’s end, which is critical for the sensitive balance of break-barrel airguns.
Versatile Compatibility: Available in sizes to fit barrels with outer diameters of 10mm to 16mm, our interchangeable collets provide a precise fit for a wide range of airgun models. Custom sizes are available upon request for specialized applications.
Non-Marring Mounting: Crafted from high-impact polymer, the collet grips the barrel firmly without scratching or damaging the finish, preserving the aesthetics and integrity of your rifle.
Durable Construction: The collet holder is made from 20% carbon fiber reinforced polyamide, offering exceptional strength, abrasion resistance, and an attractive finish that complements your airgun setup.
Simple Installation: Designed for ease of use, the adapter requires no special tools. Simply use an adjustable wrench to hold the collet in place while hand-tightening the collet holder. The entire assembly threads directly into the rear of our moderators, making installation quick and hassle-free.
This adapter seamlessly bridges the gap between our high-performance moderators and your spring airgun.
A word on springers and flow: our flow factor calculator is built around PCPs, where it is easy to calculate pressure and volume at the muzzle. Springers are a little less simple. Muzzle energy is a good analogue, if you want to make your own estimations. In general though we’ve found most springers, having no shroud or reflex volume, want a moderate flow moderator.
