Kinetic Research Group, AKA KRG, make a chassis system which significantly improves the accuracy/performance of the CZ455 platform. The major issue however is the absence of a magazine well, which makes speedy and reliable magazine insertion difficult.

To address this issue, we design and manufacture a magazine well insert which bridges this gap. Installation is as simple as inserting the rear "hook" area under the front end of the trigger guard and then rotating the front of the magazine well downward. This is typically a snug friction fit, so while on our sample no adjustment was necessary, in some cases minor fitment +/- may be necessary.

Current Versions:

KRG X-Ray Version 2.0 for the Chassis is an upgrade from previous versions, with improved aesthetics and chemical resistance. Each is now a matte finish solid polymer component. (photography still represents the original version 1.0, the design is unchanged, just the material). Compatibility with the new Gen 5 is still unknown.

KRG Bravo Gen 1 Chassis. These fit the Bravo Gen 1 and have enhanced feed ramps. Like the version 1.0 of the X-ray version these are currently 3D printed in two material options shown in the last picture, top is ABS with a smooth black finish and bottom is Carbon Fiber Nylon with a textured finish. Both materials offer good durability and impact resistance although the Nylon slightly more so. The Nylon version also has a higher quality surface finish and feel and is more chemically resistant.

KRG Bravo Gen 1 Chassis for 17HMR/22WMR, same as above but extended for 17HMR/22WMR.

KRG Bravo Gen 2 Chassis (Beta). These fit the new Gen 2 Bravo Chassis and are currently in Beta, they should fit well but let us know if there are any slight tweaks we can make to improve compatibility. These are currently only available in Carbon Fiber Nylon and are priced at a special Beta price.
