FX Dreamline HFVS (High Flow Valve Stop) - Experimental
We’ve always liked the FX Dreamline platform and are no strangers to boosting it’s kinetic energy output. We started by tuning our baseline High Flow Dreamline .30 from it’s stock 74.9 FPE up to 86.85 FPE which you can read more about here. Now we’re angling for more power and to do that one of the things that must be improved is the airflow efficiency. The first bottleneck to tackle here is the airflow from the two Power Plenums we’ve added through the valve stop to the factory plenum. To accomplish this we’ve made this High Flow Valve Stop (HFVS) that dramatically improves the cross section available for airflow. In our setup installing this alone boosted power by 5FPE or about 6.7% increase in energy. The fact that this improvement is mostly through airflow drag reduction is pretty impressive and we may be on our way to a 3rd Power Plenum along with a longer barrel to fully utilize all this additional air.
Currently these are still being sold as experimental just until we get some more feedback from users.
