Just a little teaser of the LoX as we work on it here. Long exposure photography makes it easy to "cheat" beamshots, a 5 minute exposure in an area with little light pollution will make even a 5$ zoomie look impressive, however video is another matter entirely.

Long exposure photography makes it easy to “cheat” beamshots, a 5 minute exposure in an area with little light pollution will make even a 5$ zoomie look impressive, however video is another matter entirely. The necessary frame rate and ISO make it much clearer if you’re cheating the shot. In this case, this 9 second clip was filmed on a potato quality cell phone camera. In short, yes, it is just that bright.
